Hookwise is a webhook inspection and localhost tunneling tool for developers who need to capture, debug, and test HTTP requests. It provides public webhook endpoints for receiving traffic from services such as Stripe, GitHub, Shopify, Twilio, Resend, and other HTTP-based platforms, while keeping request data organized in a searchable workspace.

The live request inspector displays webhook headers, payloads, query parameters, and metadata in real time. Developers can use the Hookwise CLI to create an authenticated tunnel that forwards incoming webhook requests to a local application and returns the local server’s response to the sender. Additional features include request history, one-click webhook replay, delivery success and failure tracking, latency and retry metrics, and alerts for unsuccessful deliveries. Hookwise supports a streamlined workflow for webhook testing, local development, API troubleshooting, and delivery monitoring.
